Luxury Trips and $300,000K a year!

I am on an exciting quest to create a brighter future for my family! As a dedicated Registered Nurse in a non-clinical setting, I am grateful for the support it provides. It allows me to balance my career with my role as a mom, which is so important. However, while pursuing the goal of paying off nearly $100,000 in debt (more on that inspiring journey in an another post!), I recognized a need for less spending and more income. Once we reached that significant milestone, we dreamed bigger and set new financial goals:

1. Stay debt-free for life!

2. Build a secure financial future.

3. Establish an emergency savings foundation.

4. Allocate funds for anticipated expenses.

5. Enjoy life with some discretionary spending!

We aspire to create incredible memories for our kids, introducing them to diverse experiences where they can learn and grow. With that in mind, I embraced an opportunity by taking on a part-time role as a bedside nurse at a local hospital. This decision has not only been rewarding but will help fuel our dreams and goals!

Recently, a conversation with the parents of our daughter’s friend at gymnastics sparked inspiration. They shared thrilling stories about their travel adventures with their two young children. They are 10 years younger than us, yet they had traveled to breathtaking places like Cabo, Ireland, Quebec, and Peru. Their upcoming trip to Phuket, Thailand, and stays at luxurious hotels like the Waldorf Astoria in New York made me pause. It got me thinking, what are we missing?

But instead of feeling disheartened, I felt motivated to find out what they were doing right! Curiosity led me to learn that they own a financial planning business. This revelation excited me! It became clear that their approach allowed them to travel without the burden of debt. As I engaged in the conversation, I discovered all of their travel was completely paid for by their parent company. I also found out that they were eager to welcome newcomers into their growing enterprise, offering training and the flexibility to work as little or as much as fit their lives. The effort you invest directly correlates with the rewards you reap! The more we explored, the more inspired I became. This business opportunity seemed extraordinary!

They shared stories about stunning annual paid vacations and impressive earnings—new team members were making comparable salaries to my own after just months of joining! Some individuals were earning between $10,000 and $30,000 a month, depending on their commitment. It sounded almost too good to be true, yet the evidence was real, and the testimonials came from the heart.

The work revolves around helping families prepare for their financial futures through estate planning, financial advising, and life insurance products. Yes, it does require getting licensed to sell insurance, but don’t let that intimidate you! As a busy Registered Nurse and a mom of four with multiple commitments, I took the leap and obtained my license in just a few weeks.

If I can conquer this challenge amidst my bustling life, you absolutely can too!

I'm thrilled to share that two days ago, I officially received my insurance license! Following that, I completed an introductory training on the necessary software and appointment processes, marking the beginning of a new chapter. I am all in on this adventure!

I will be documenting my journey, and my hope is that this endeavor leads to success that I can share with you. Even if it doesn’t work out, each step will be a valuable learning experience, and I’ll share those insights with you! Let’s celebrate growth, learning, and the courage to try new things together! The road ahead is bright, and I invite you to join me in pursuing our dreams. Let's do this!
